The site needed some optimizations so that it was more visible for terms outside of brand and it needed conversion help to reduce bounce rates, it also needed more powerful contextual links to help it rank better. The client also wanted to breakout in other markets including Austin, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Dallas, and regain marketshare in Chicago.

The Strategy

Created an audit to find out what the site was doing well and what it needed improved. It was determined that an on-page optimization was needed first which included rewriting hundreds of H1-h6 tags, switching images to webp formats, reducing and combining a lot of scripts, reworking redirects and creating new internal linking.
